I cannot describe how reading that makes me feel.
I have a younger sister with autism so it's affected my life a lot.
This is a wonderful piece. It's simple but it says a lot.
Just... really powerful.

I have it too. I'm also cognitive-impaired, in other words, very low IQ.
But I'm like other people, I just can't tell them the way they tell each other.
On the outside I'm a person with autism. But on the inside I'm just a person.
Your sister is too.

My lil brother has troubles too and that really touched me becuz I remember all those years of watching him and teaching him. ITs hard when people don't understand and can't see what my family and I did every day. And it really has impacted my life. That and I have learning disabilities as well.
